Replit is Built for Web. BuildAvelo is Built for Mobile.
Replit Agent is powerful for generating full-stack web apps. But when you need a native mobile app on the App Store and Google Play — with no IDE and no build pipeline to manage — BuildAvelo is built for that.

Describe your app
Tell BuildAvelo what you want in plain language. No code, no wireframes — just describe your idea like you would to a coworker.
Replit gives you a cloud IDE where AI helps write code — but you're still managing files, debugging, and setting up deployment. BuildAvelo takes a different approach: describe your app in a conversation, and AI agents handle everything. Your app goes from idea to App Store without ever opening a code editor.
Every BuildAvelo app comes with a full backend — database, auth, storage, and edge functions. No third-party setup needed. Available on all plans, including Free.

Can BuildAvelo replace Replit for building mobile apps?
Yes, BuildAvelo can replace Replit if your goal is a native app in the App Store and Google Play, or a website to go with it. That’s what BuildAvelo is built for: the agent builds your iOS and Android app with React Native and Expo, sets up the backend, and prepares releases for both stores from one chat. Replit also covers kinds of software BuildAvelo doesn’t, so keep it for those projects.
Can BuildAvelo build my app for Google Play?
Yes, BuildAvelo builds Android apps for Google Play. Ask the agent to release your app for Android, and it builds the app in the cloud, ready for you to upload to the Google Play Console. You need a Google Play developer account and an Expo account, and the agent walks you through setup. As of October 2026, Replit’s docs say publishing to Google Play is not yet supported. Android and iOS releases start on the BuildAvelo Starter plan.
Can BuildAvelo convert my Replit app into a mobile app?
Yes, BuildAvelo can turn a Replit web app into a native iOS and Android app. Share the link to your published app, and the BuildAvelo agent uses it as a visual and content reference for the mobile version. To bring over the whole codebase, including pages behind a login, import the project’s GitHub repo into BuildAvelo on the Core plan or above. The agent then builds the mobile app next to your existing web app, in the same project.
Which no-code app builder is better for mobile apps, BuildAvelo or Replit?
BuildAvelo, if mobile is the goal. Both let you build by describing your app instead of writing code. The difference is what happens next: BuildAvelo prepares releases for both the App Store and Google Play, simulates store review so you can fix problems before you submit, and keeps your mobile app and website in one project. Replit is a general-purpose AI builder, and as of October 2026 its store publishing covers the App Store only.
How does BuildAvelo pricing compare to Replit?
BuildAvelo Core starts at $500/month; Replit Core starts at $20/month. Every BuildAvelo plan has a set number of monthly credits, and when they run out, you choose to upgrade or buy a credit bundle. As of October 2026, Replit bills Agent work by effort and charges pay-as-you-go beyond your monthly credits unless you set a limit. BuildAvelo also has a free plan with no credit card required, and store releases start on Starter at $999/month.
How does BuildAvelo publish an iOS app to the App Store?
Tell the BuildAvelo agent you want to release for iOS. It asks for your Expo token and Apple Developer credentials through encrypted fields, builds your app in the cloud in about 10 to 30 minutes, and submits it to App Store Connect. From there you choose a TestFlight beta or a public release. Before you submit, the agent can run a simulated App Store review and tell you what to fix.
Can one BuildAvelo project hold my website and my mobile app?
Yes, a single BuildAvelo project can hold a website and a mobile app together, or several of each, and the agent works across all of them. Your website can run on your own domain, with up to 20 domains per project depending on your plan, while your iOS and Android app goes to the stores. You describe a change once, and the agent can update both.
How does BuildAvelo handle bugs and crashes in my app?
The BuildAvelo agent tests its own work and fixes the errors it finds while it builds. After launch, BuildAvelo Watch captures errors and crashes from your app on the web, iOS, and Android, with AI-powered fix suggestions, so you can ask the agent to fix them. If a change goes wrong, you can roll back with checkpoints or rewind the chat to before that message.
